Tuesday, 26 Nov 2024

Telkomsel is challenging startup founders in Bali to develop their businesses through the 10th edition of the NextDev impact startup incubator program. They are also offering prizes amounting to hundreds of millions for the best startups that can meet these challenges.

The company has established a digital ecosystem utilizing 5G networks in Denpasar and Badung to support the growth of the startup industry in Bali.

"We have prepared the infrastructure in Bali to facilitate digitalization. Telkomsel has deployed 5G in Badung and Denpasar," stated Mulyadi Indra, General Manager of Consumer Business for the Bali Nusra region, during the roadshow for the NextDev startup incubation program in Bali on Thursday, November 21.

Mulyadi emphasized that the NextDev startup incubation program is not merely a competition but also an opportunity for founders to share ideas and develop their businesses. Bali has consistently been selected as a roadshow location over the past decade due to its high potential for digital industry growth.

One of the advantages of utilizing 5G infrastructure is its low latency, which allows for highly efficient machine-to-machine communication.

"What we deliver is the experience. We aim for customers to enjoy the benefits of 5G across various applications, including the Internet, gaming, video, and much more," he added.
