The Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Maman Abdurrahman, has confirmed the continuation of the Entrepreneur Hub program. He stated that the program effectively enhances the capacity and networking of entrepreneurs while supporting the goal of producing established entrepreneurs in Indonesia. "Rest assured, as the Minister of MSMEs, I guarantee that the Entrepreneur Hub program will proceed. I believe this is a commendable initiative," Maman remarked during the Entrepreneur Hub Jakarta Raya Session IV at Trisakti University, Jakarta, on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

This program was initially launched by the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs in 2023, making 2024 its second year of implementation. Since its kickoff on April 5, 2023, the program has reached 35 districts/cities across 21 provinces, aiming to create 13,995 entrepreneurs. Maman emphasized that during his current administration, the Entrepreneur Hub program will be enhanced through evaluation and modifications based on previous implementations. "We will refine and strengthen the areas that need improvement," he stated.

According to Maman, the Entrepreneur Hub program represents a tangible collaboration between the government and the education sector in fostering research-based entrepreneurship. The program is designed to enable participants to develop more rapidly in line with market demands. "Let us become ambassadors, role models, and figures who, after completing the Entrepreneur Hub program, can achieve independence and demonstrate to the Indonesian public that this program can produce successful graduates," he added. Maman also noted that this initiative is part of the government's strategy to cultivate resilient entrepreneurs to support the Indonesia Gold 2045 target and assist the nation in overcoming the middle-income trap.

In Jakarta, the Entrepreneur Hub program, which commenced on August 15, 2024, involves several partner universities, including Agung Podomoro University, Bina Nusantara, Mercu Buana, Gunadarma, Trisakti, Pelita Harapan, Singaperbangsa Karawang, UNJ, UPN Veteran Jakarta, UMN Tangerang, Ukrida, and Bakrie University. Siti Azizah expressed hope that the Entrepreneur Hub would facilitate the scaling up of businesses through a network of potential partners in financing, investment, marketing, and other strategic partnerships. During the same event, Kadarsah Suryadi, the Rector of Trisakti University, also commended the program, expressing his aspiration that it would lead to the emergence of competitive startups and SMEs in the future.
