Peruri has successfully achieved a Silver Rank award at the prestigious 20th Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2024, themed “Enhanced Transparency and Accountability for Sustainable Business,” held at Raffles Hotel Jakarta on Thursday (November 21).

The award was received by Peruri's Director of Finance and Risk Management, Fajar Rizki.

This recognition reflects Peruri's efforts to enhance transparency and accountability through sustainability reports that meet international GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards and OJK regulations.

In the 2023 fiscal year, Peruri's Sustainability Report focused on the theme “Safeguarding Sovereignty in the Digital Era,” highlighting Peruri's role in upholding sovereignty during Indonesia's digital transformation.

By prioritizing sustainability principles, Peruri implements environmentally friendly business practices in all operational aspects to support sustainable development in Indonesia.

Fajar Rizki stated that this achievement showcases Peruri's commitment to sustainable business practices in every strategic step. This is evident in the high quality and credibility of the sustainability report, ensuring transparency and accountability regarding social and environmental impacts.

“The recognition for Peruri in sustainability reporting is strengthened by the company's strong commitment to promoting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within the organization,” Fajar added.

This year, the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) celebrates 20 years of honoring companies that prepare sustainability reports.

Organized by the National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) since 2005, the program has involved 70 corporate organizations and higher education institutions.

Assessment is based on standards such as GRI Standards, Sector Standards Disclosure, Assurance Engagement AA1000 Type 2, and/or ISAE 3000, SDG’s Compass, along with other international standards.

Sustainable reporting practices in Indonesia are showing significant transformation with the adoption of global and high-quality reporting standards. Companies from the Philippines, Bangladesh, Russia, and Australia are also participating. This remarkable achievement reflects the commitment of each company and organization to uphold transparency and accountability in identifying and managing risks, said NCCR Chairman Ali Darwin.

Through this award, Peruri reaffirms its commitment to integrating sustainability principles into its business strategy and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and responsible business practices.

This aligns with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Regulation Number 3 of 2023, which requires all state-owned enterprises to include sustainability elements in their business plans, covering environmental, social, and governance aspects.
