Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri has called upon all stakeholders to enhance collaboration. According to Wamendag Roro, a strong partnership among the government, society, and industry players can foster an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable modest fashion ecosystem. This message was conveyed by Wamendag Roro during the Awarding Night of the Modest Summit 2025, held on Thursday, December 5, at The Ballroom Djakarta Theatre in Jakarta. The event featured the theme "Celebrating Excellence in Modest Fashion Indonesia" and presented awards across 11 categories to industry participants.
Wamendag Roro emphasized that the Awarding Night of the Modest Summit 2025 could serve as a pivotal moment to strengthen collaboration among the government, society, and industry stakeholders. Through close cooperation, it is possible to create an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable ecosystem for Indonesia's modest fashion industry. This approach aims to maximize the potential of Indonesia's modest fashion sector, thereby reinforcing the country's position as a global hub for modest fashion.
Furthermore, Wamendag Roro stated that the Ministry of Trade is committed to continuously supporting the modest fashion industry. This support is manifested through various strategic policies aimed at enhancing product competitiveness, safeguarding the domestic market, and expanding access to international markets. Consequently, it is anticipated that Indonesia's modest fashion industry will experience growth and gain international recognition.
Wamendag Roro highlighted the significant role of the modest fashion industry in contributing to Indonesia's economic growth. Under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto, the government aims for an economic growth target of eight percent by 2029. Therefore, the spirit of innovation and the drive for productivity within this industry must be supported by all parties, including the government. According to Wamendag Roro, the Ministry of Trade offers the InaExport platform, which can be utilized by business actors, including those in the modest fashion sector, to analyze markets in various countries.
