Peruri Digital Entrepreneur Academy Level III has successfully concluded with a Graduation Ceremony held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Grand Sovia Hotel in Bandung. The event was opened by Ratih Sukma Pratiwi, Head of the Strategic Corporate Branding & TJSL Bureau at PERURI, and attended by 24 participants from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) who completed a three-month training, business incubation, and intensive mentoring program that started in September 2024.
This academy is a collaborative and solution-based incubation program aimed at helping SMEs expand globally, featuring mentors from various fields. Since its launch in 2022, the Peruri Digital Entrepreneur Academy (PEDIA) has been designed to elevate SMEs by enhancing their digital technology skills.
In PEDIA Level I in 2022, the program helped SMEs go online by teaching them the basics of digitalization. In Level II in 2023, the focus shifted to strengthening SMEs' digital capabilities, including managing businesses on digital platforms and digital marketing strategies. This year, the curriculum expanded to assist SMEs in reaching international markets through three approaches: business approach, business opportunity, and business acceleration, providing them with insights into business strategies and preparing for global market exports.
In October, all participants of the Peruri Digital Entrepreneur Academy Level III took part in the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2024, organized by the Ministry of Trade at ICE BSD. They had the chance to showcase their products to potential buyers from abroad. Through this event, seven small and medium enterprises (SMEs) supported by PERURI—Dcraft Indonesia, Lavida Home, Mozaas Healthy Laboratory, Ing Pawon, Oishii, Jelujur, and Jacal—successfully gained new buyers.
In her speech, Ratih mentioned that this year's program is an initiative by PERURI to help SMEs contribute to the global market. "We hope this program allows SMEs to apply what they learn in their businesses and collaborate with various buyers both domestically and internationally, ultimately contributing more to national economic growth," Ratih added.
The graduation ceremony for the Peruri Digital Entrepreneur Academy Level III recognized SMEs with two award categories: Best SME and Special Appreciation SME. The Best SME award included a business trip to support market development abroad, given to Dcraft Indonesia and Addictea. The Special Appreciation SME award provided business improvement assistance to the most active SMEs, awarded to Dschoon and Milioki, and the most progressive category awarded to Lavida Home.
These awards were given based on the SMEs' achievements in enhancing their export readiness through structured evaluations of their business assignments, export collaboration progress, and other accomplishments during the incubation process. Moving forward, Peruri remains committed to helping Indonesian SMEs expand their businesses and market networks through guidance and training.
