The Utilization Of Technology Is On The Rise, Making Cybersecurity Protection A Primary Necessity

The ongoing advancement of technology presents new challenges in cybersecurity, making cyber protection an essential requirement in the digital age. This issue was highlighted during the Technology Seminar titled “Intelligent Integrated Security Threat Detection and Response Technology – Based on Zero Trust,” held on November 18. The seminar was attended by various experts, industry practitioners, and government representatives from Indonesia and South Korea. During the event, Kim Minsoo, CEO of LSware Inc., emphasized the necessity of strategic efforts to address cybersecurity challenges, particularly in safeguarding the global community and Indonesia. “Cybersecurity protection is a fundamental necessity for ensuring safety. Through bilateral collaboration and strategic programs like this seminar, we hope to support the development of cybersecurity innovations, especially under the Zero Trust principle,” he stated in a press release on Friday, December 13, 2024.

Kim further elaborated that LSware, as a developer of computer security solutions and software, is committed to continuously providing reliable products and services through research and development (R&D). “The development of cybersecurity tools based on applicable standard guidelines, such as Zero Trust, is our primary focus in building strategic competencies,” he added.

Increasing Awareness and Cybersecurity Standards Budi Utomo, Director of Industrial Services at PT Sucofindo, underscored the importance of enhancing awareness regarding cyber threats. “The rapid changes in information technology have both positive and negative impacts. Therefore, efforts to raise awareness about cyber threats, protect personal data, and safeguard institutions are crucial. This seminar represents a strategic step towards strengthening the cybersecurity sector in Indonesia,” Budi explained.
