Synology Unveils Innovations In Data Protection And Storage Management

Synology showcased several innovative products focused on data protection, storage management, and surveillance solutions during the Synology Solution Day 2024 event held in Jakarta. 

The ActiveProtect series introduced is designed to facilitate the implementation of data protection in multi-server environments, accommodating up to 2,500 sites. It features a user-friendly interface and immutable capabilities to ensure business continuity in the face of ransomware threats. 

This upcoming scale-out solution is well-suited for high-capacity data management, supporting the growth of file and object storage as additional servers are integrated. 

Additionally, Synology unveiled the C2 Surveillance Station, a cloud-based video surveillance solution equipped with AI edge technology and layered encryption, providing secure and efficient monitoring for environments lacking local recording servers. 

Furthermore, updates to the Synology Office Suite will include the integration of GenAI features aimed at enhancing collaboration and streamlining workflows, thereby delivering a smarter and more intuitive work experience across departments. These products represent Synology's commitment to addressing the high demands of modern enterprises. 

The Synology Solution Day serves as an annual platform for introducing a variety of Synology innovations, including scalable data storage solutions, advanced security features in backup systems, AI-based video surveillance solutions, and AI-driven business collaboration tools. The event attracted over 600 IT professionals and business partners from diverse sectors.
