Telkomsel Network Director Indra Mardiatna said that his party has completed the construction of the 5G network in the Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabotabek) areas.
Currently, there are around 1,400 5G BTS spread across various strategic locations, including Soekarno-Hatta Airport and business centers.
"It is spread from the airport, CBD or central district, then also to Tangerang, South Tangerang, then Bekasi, then Bogor, Bogor for the city of Bogor at this time," said Indra in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Overall, Telkomsel has operated 2,200 5G BTS spread across 56 cities and districts in Indonesia.
However, the 5G network that has been connected closely (contiguous) is currently only available in Jabotabek, Bali, and several other locations.
In the future, he said, Telkomsel plans to expand its 5G network to big cities such as Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, Batam, and other big cities in Indonesia.
"So we will continue to develop it and we do this of course gradually and through several studies in accordance with the ecosystem available in Indonesia and in big cities in Indonesia," he said.
Indra emphasized that Telkomsel is committed to continuing to provide the best service to customers, both through connectivity solutions, services, and other solutions that can be enjoyed at home by individuals and businesses.
In addition to mobile services, Telkomsel also provides fixed broadband services through Indihome, thus offering a complete solution for customers' digital needs.
He hopes that with the 5G network and this comprehensive service, people can enjoy a better digital experience.
