, 04 May 2025

Non-profit organizations from Indonesia have been selected to receive a grant worth IDR 1.68 billion through the Digital Equity Accelerator (Accelerator) 2025 initiated by the HP Foundation, in the form of HP technology solutions and virtual training programs for six months.

Reported from an official statement on Monday, there are eight non-profit organizations from Greece, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Spain selected by the HP Foundation to participate in the Digital Equity Accelerator 2025 program.

"Through the Digital Equity Accelerator, HP empowers non-profit organizations to bridge the digital divide by ensuring that young people and adults who are not digitally connected have the tools and training they need to thrive in an increasingly technology-focused workforce," said HP Foundation Director Michele Malejki.

Two Indonesian non-profit organizations that participated were the Solve Education Foundation (Yayasan Muda Berkarya Berdikari) which focuses on empowering the young generation of Indonesia with the latest skills through the AI-based learning platform, edbot.ai.

Then there is Markoding (Daya Kreasi Anak Bangsa Foundation). The organization helps equip underprivileged youth with cutting-edge skills. Its flagship program, Perempuan Inovasi, has empowered over 35,000 women with science and technology training, mentorship, and access to employment opportunities.

Other Digital Equity Accelerator 2025 participants include Socialinnov and The Smile of the Child from Greece; She-Code Africa Women Tech Initiative and The Slum to School Initiative from Nigeria; AlmaNatura Foundation and Fundación Esplai Ciudadanía Comprometida from Spain.

"By supporting these non-profits, we are helping build an inclusive digital future. We want to empower digitally excluded communities through access to essential digital learning platforms and drive positive social change," said HP Indonesia Managing Director Juliana Cen.

Since 2022, the Accelerator has helped expand the reach of 27 non-profits in Brazil, Canada, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, and the United States to over nine million people.
