This year, the Earth Festival was held again on April 18-20 at Lippo Mall Nusantara, Jakarta. During the event, tens of thousands of visitors were treated to various interesting programs, including talk shows, food and plant-based product bazaars, competitions, door prizes, and cultural arts performances.
The 2025 Earth Festival shows its commitment to raising public awareness of the importance of environmental conservation and the formation of an Earth-friendly culture. Beyond that, the organizing organization has consistently campaigned for a sustainable lifestyle. The Earth Festival is held under the support and auspices of the International Nature Loving Association (INLA) and the Indonesian Vegetarian Society (IVS), two organizations that have long contributed to educating the public about environmental love and Earth-friendly lifestyles.
This year, the theme is "Greening Our Future: Reshaping Habit for the Better Earth," referring to the release on Lifestyle Liputan6.com, Tuesday (6/5/2025). "The 2025 Earth Festival wants to revive the spirit of environmental love that starts from simple, but meaningful things," said the Chairperson of the Earth Festival Committee, Cinthia.
"Through this festival, we hope that the public will not only be educated about sustainability issues and environmental ethics, but also be encouraged to actively participate in creating a better and more sustainable future," he added. The public's enthusiasm for the Earth Festival 2025 was very high, as evidenced by the total attendance of 67,926 visitors during the three days of the event. This number not only reflects the success of the event in terms of the number of participants, but also the increasing public awareness of environmental and sustainability issues.
Visitors came from various backgrounds, ages, and regions, making the Earth Festival an inclusive space to learn, be inspired, and share the green spirit. The event held various competitions, including the Earth Festival Got Talent, Fashion Show, Cooking Competition, Coloring Competition, and Eco Craft, with attractive prizes for the winners. The Cooking Competition at the Earth Festival presents celebrity chefs as judges and guest stars to promote a vegan lifestyle through plant-based recipes. This year, the Earth Festival invited Chef Victor, a Top 4 from Master Chef Indonesia Season 9.
There is also a Vegan Bazaar which is regularly held to promote a plant-based lifestyle as a form of concern for the environment. This year, Earth Festival collaborated with more than 40 tenants selling various plant-based food products. Earth Festival will be held annually as a collective effort to combat global warming and prevent its damaging impacts.
