Tecno Embeds The Latest Sophisticated Chipset In Spark 40 Pro+

Tecno Mobile is rumored to be embedding the company's latest chip for their latest phone, the Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ and making it the first phone to use the chipset. 

GSM Arena reported on Tuesday that by using this latest chipset, the company promises a 10 percent increase in performance compared to the G100, with a score of 470,000 points on AnTuTu. 

This new chip is also claimed to be able to increase the clock speed of the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU to 1.1GHz (up from 1.0GHz on the G99 and G100). In addition, the Spark 40 Pro+ will have a customized super resolution algorithm that will render graphics at 1.5K. 

The Chinese mobile phone company also explained that using this latest chip can make it better than MediaTek itself - which stands for Dynamic Communication Smart Adaptive Response. 

What it does is increase network efficiency in areas with weak signals, which should result in higher data speeds for streaming, gaming, and other uses. 

The Helio G200 also adds 12-bit DCG support for the camera, which will improve HDR video quality. However, Tecno is keeping the camera features of the Spark 40 under wraps for now.

Tecno will actually introduce the Spark 40 series globally in July 2025.
