The vivo X Fold 5 foldable phone has an IPX9 rating for protection against high-pressure water jets and an IPX9+ rating for the ability to fold underwater.
Vivo claims that the foldable phone can be opened and closed 1,000 times in water at a depth of one meter.
In addition, the Vivo X Fold 5 is rated IP5X for dust resistance, offering the best level of dust protection in the foldable phone industry.
The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to use a 6.53-inch LTPO outer display and an 8.03-inch 2K+ AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
