Technology company Xiaomi is preparing to release a new line of tablets including the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, the leak of which has now been revealed to the public.
One of the interesting pieces of information revealed in the leak is the potential emergence of a chipset for the Xiaomi XRing O1 which was recently announced and also embedded in the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra tablet.
According to a report by Gizmochina, Sunday (8/6), this leak came from technology leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) via a post on Weibo which revealed details of the screen to its charging.
For the engine, DCS revealed that Xiaomi will continue the task of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which was previously embedded in the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro to become the XRing O1 which is a chip developed internally for the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro.
In terms of the screen, the tablet is believed to come with a 12.5-inch LCD screen and support 120W fast charging. This tablet is positioned to have performance below the Pad 7 Ultra but above the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro in its lineup, with a price to match.
Some of the specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro can also be confirmed through certification from Bluetooth SIG which displays screen details, while the specifications for fast charging support are confirmed from certification on the Chinese 3C website.
The larger tablet size is expected to handle heat and modem issues better than smartphones, allowing for increased CPU performance and smoother use with HyperOS.
In addition to the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, DCS said Xiaomi has also prepared three new tablets to be released in June 2025.
