PKK Babel Makes Blood Donation A Healthy Lifestyle

The Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province (Babel) has made blood donation a part of a healthy lifestyle and concern for fellow community members in Negeri Serumpun Sebalai. 

"Let's make this blood donation a healthy lifestyle and concern for others. A drop of our blood can save someone else's life," said the Head of TP PKK of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Noni Hidayat Arsani after donating blood in Pangkalpinang, Sunday. 

He said that this blood donation activity was a series of events to commemorate the 53rd PKK Unity Movement Day (HKG) in 2025 which was attended by 64 participants and succeeded in collecting 32 blood bags to help PMI meet the community's blood needs. 

"I feel happy and proud, because I can participate directly in this humanitarian blood donation action to help hospital patients who need blood," he said. 

She admitted that this was her first time donating blood and invited the entire community, especially women, not to hesitate to donate blood to help others, especially the underprivileged who often have difficulty getting blood in times of emergency. 

"This is my first experience donating blood and I feel very happy to be able to help people in need. A drop of our blood means a lot to those in need," she said. 

This blood donation activity was attended by various elements, ranging from PKK members, ASN, to the general public who were enthusiastic about participating in this humanitarian action. 

In addition to fulfilling the blood stock at PMI, this activity is also part of the TP PKK social movement in fostering a sense of empathy and social concern in the community.
